The Birthday Massacre + etc. @ soma
They were AMAZING and i was so lucky to see the guitarist (above pic) and the keyboard (below). i got an autograph on the poster i bought and its actually my first time talking to one a band member from my fav bands so i was realli happy lol yea im still pretty excited even now that im home lol
newayz so the show went on like this...
The opening band was this duo from japan called Aural Vampire. girl vocal with a dj so the band was pretty much what i want to do with the band im forming now. the girl was cuter than ive seen her on videos and the dj wore a mask that lights up. they did a pretty good performance even though the vocal style is not my taste. she was trading a watch for something and someone traded a bag for it lol it was something i never seen and it was realli random. the next band was a regular guy vocal rock band. i cant even remember the name so yea they didnt realli impress me too much. wasnt bad dou. and finally THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE their performance is amazing and the vocalist is realli nice to her fans. some girl gave her a hair clip with a ribbon and she wore it on stage, but it eventually broke, how sad. they played my favorite song, "looking glass" and i was pretty happy. if they didnt play it i wouldve been bummed out just a little bit. the last band was the Black Veil Brides i never heard of them. they spent a long time setting up and since they were making a video they had the lights on. i thought that was lame. they were some hardcore rock, they reminded me of DMC (if you never heard of it, its originally a manga Detroit Metal City and they made a live action movie, its freakin hilarious i would recommend to ne one that likes japanese films) they had make up on and cool hair, very visual kei lol. when the show was over they were signing posters but thats when i saw the 2guys from birthday massacre so i didnt care about them, both of them were realli nice and friendly, i just wish i couldve met the vocalist (my friend did earlier gahhh). overall it was a very fun night and ill continue to listen to their music :)
